This 4-week series focuses on strengthening and supporting the posterior chain ~ the muscles along the back of the body, including the glutes, hamstrings, calves, and spinal stabilizers. These muscles are essential for posture, balance, and ease of movement, yet are often underused due to our quad-dominant, forward-focused daily habits.
Through slow, mindful yoga, we’ll explore practices that bring balance between the front and back of the body, improve functional strength, and support long-term joint health. Expect intentional movement, clear alignment cues, and options that allow you to meet your body where it is.
This series is ideal for anyone looking to build strength with awareness, improve stability, and move with greater support, both on and off the mat.

Each class may explore a specific area of the body, such as the spine, hips, shoulders or brings everything together in a full-body practice. Through mindful, intentional movement and breath, we build awareness, support joint health, and improve how we move in daily life.
This is not about forcing shapes or pushing deeper. It’s about moving with intelligence, curiosity, and respect for your body’s natural design.
Suitable for all levels. Especially beneficial if you want to move with more ease, feel stronger and more mobile, and understand why certain movements matter.
